You know the best stories are sometimes told with numbers, not with words.

The Georgia Southern BBA in Economics is where your analytical skills and problem-solving prowess will shine. Now available in Savannah on the Armstrong Campus and on the Statesboro Campus, our program utilizes classroom teaching paired with internships and business-abroad studies to take your intelligent decision-making skills to a whole new level.

Why Economics?

Economists work in all kinds of major industries, studying the production and distribution of resources, goods, and services by collecting and analyzing data, researching trends, and evaluating economic issues.

As an economist, you’ll collaborate with other economists and statisticians in a challenging work environment, where you’re constantly working on complex puzzles to discover relationships in economic data. For your services, you’ll also command a generous salary — the media wage for economists is more than $100,000 per year.

Practical, and hands-on

At Georgia Southern, we’re focused on experiential learning. You’ll get the theoretical foundation you need to succeed in your field, but you’ll also get practical training through real-world experience with a wide range of industry partners, business-abroad experiences and internship opportunities.
