Undergraduate Accounting Advising
Georgia Southern requires all students to be advised before registering each semester. Students are responsible for scheduling an appointment with their Academic Advisor in Student Services. Each one will provide guidance and resources to accounting students, including major course requirements, graduation requirements, academic policies, internships, and more. Students should prepare for their appointments by having a list of primary and secondary courses they want to take along with any additional questions they may have.
You will schedule your academic advisement appointments using the online appointment system called GradesFirst. At the appointed time, you will meet with your Advisor in College of Business Suite 1100. Academic Advising typically begins early during the semester, approximately 2-3 weeks after classes start. Please check your Georgia Southern email account regularly to stay informed of dates for academic advising each semester.
