What are the admissions procedures?
- Admissions Application: Complete the Graduate Admission Application online.
- Admissions Application Fee: Applicants must pay a $50.00 application fee upon submission.
- Professional Resume (Online MBA applicants must provide evidence of, at minimum, two years of professional work experience.)
- Official Transcripts: Send official transcripts* from all colleges and universities attended to:

- GMAT Score: To make an appointment at your local testing office, and to learn more about the GMAT, go to: www.mba.com. Be sure to have your scores reported to Georgia Southern.
- International students have additional requirements outlined below.
Admitted on-campus students must send Certificate of Immunization Forms directly to the Office of Health Services at PO Box 8043, Statesboro, GA 30460. The forms are available on the Health Services webpage on the Georgia Southern University website.

What are the admission procedures for international students?
International Students must submit a statement of financial position and TOEFL scores. The minimum score for the computer based test is 213 and 550 for the paper based test. For information on the TOEFL, log on to http://www.ets.org/toefl. More information on International Graduate Admissions can be found online here.
What happens after I complete all of the steps?
The Office of Graduate Admissions will send your complete application packet to the College of Business MBA Office for review. We will evaluate your packet and make the admission recommendation.
Can I transfer graduate course credits into the MBA?
Yes, but no more than two, 3-credit hour courses may be transferred. The MBA Office determines whether specific courses are eligible to be transferred. Credit will be accepted before you enter the program. Only courses from AACSB-accredited schools will be considered. Courses must match our curriculum.
What are the policies for completing prerequisites?
You must complete all prerequisites before enrolling in 7000-level courses. Notification of necessary prerequisites will occur through the recommendation for acceptance letter and discussed during the orientation advisement appointment. The normal prerequisites are: Financial Accounting, Business Economics, Principles of Corporate Finance and Business Statistics.
At the undergraduate and graduate level, can prerequisites be taken?
You may enroll in the undergraduate equivalents or complete approved online modules.
How do I get advised?
Advisement is mandatory and occurs on the phone, via Skype or in the MBA Office in the College of Business Administration, Ste. 3300. You may also call 912.478.5767, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or come by our office with your advisement questions.
How do I register for classes?
After being advised, the MBA Office will register you once early registration opens.
How do I drop, add, or withdraw from a class?
Please notify your Advisor if and when you decide to drop a class. Dropping a class may have impacts on Financial Aid as well as your schedule, so check with your Advisor first.
Drop and/or Add a Class: Use your Wings Account during the scheduled drop/add period.
Withdraw from all Classes*: If you want to withdraw from all registered courses, you must contact the Registrar’s Office at 912.478.5152 to complete a university withdrawal form.
*Please contact your Advisor prior to withdrawing from all classes.
May participating University of Georgia System employees receive a waiver of tuition when they enroll in the Georgia Southern MBA program?
TAP pays base tuition which is a portion of total MBA tuition. Please contact email@example.com and your campus TAP Administrator for specific tuition information.
