Biography

Justin joined Georgia Southern University in August 2017 as an assistant professor of legal studies. From 2011 to 2017, he served as International Coordinator for the Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Fort Hays State University in Kansas, where he oversaw the College’s dual BBA degree programs in China and founded the Journal of International & Interdisciplinary Business Research. Before joining Fort Hays, Justin enjoyed a judicial law clerkship with Justice Brent E. Dickson at the Indiana Supreme Court, was in the private practice of law, and served as vice-chair of the American Bar Association’s China Committee. Justin previously held adjunct professorships in law, business, and political science at the Indiana University McKinney School of Law (where he created a doctoral course entitled “The Law & Society of China”), the Indiana University Kelley School of Business (where he taught in the IB program), and the IUPUI Department of Political Science (where he created a course entitled “Chinese Politics”).  Justin is a graduate of the University of Florida’s AACSB Post-Doctoral Bridge Program, where he studied under Dr. Michael H. Morris. In August 2021, he was promoted to associate professor of legal studies.
